Passover Seder

Thursday, April 17, 6:30 PM

The Flock Church

When God rescued the people of Israel from Egypt, he instituted a meal known as “Passover.” Each year, Jewish families would observe this meal to remember God’s deliverance.

Jesus would have eaten this Passover meal each year. But on the night of his arrest, he gathered with his closest followers to celebrate this meal with them. And now, Jesus reimagines the Passover meal in light of his sacrificial death.

Join us on Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 PM as we celebrate a Passover seder. We will be using elements that closely resemble what Jesus and his followers may have eaten during this “last supper.” Pastor Chris Wiles will guide us through the traditional observances, which include Scripture reading in both Hebrew and English. We will also discover how the elements on the table point us to God’s great story of redemption and release—and what that means for each of us.
